Yearbook

In order to keep those priceless school memories, myself and three other IB students, along with our teacher Miss. Irving put together, created and designed our school yearbook for 2010/2011. The yearbook captures each child in the school, with a class photo, individual photos, candid’s, club photos etc and allows everyone to look back on the memories we all experienced throughout this school year.
Creating the yearbook was not always an easy task, we had deadlines to meet and at times it became very nerve racking as to whether or not we would finish in time. It was an enjoyable experience, cropping and uploading photos as well as begging students to smile for the camera. Having never used the yearbook software before, I was able to learn something new and improve my technological skills.
As a group, we started designing and creating the yearbook in September 2010, when the school year began and finished with a tight deadline of April 2nd 2011. Most of this project was fun and creative but at times it became tedious, cropping and playing around with photos and trying hard to get a good contrast with colors and layouts. There really was not any part I disliked; it was all enjoyable in its own way. I really enjoyed working on the yearbook and am very pleased with the finished product. We worked so well as a team and helped to critique each others work, overall producing a well done yearbook for the whole school to look back on.
